NW KS/ SC ID | I'd pop the cover off the trailer junction box and make sure the blue wire is going to trailer brakes, and make sure it matches up properly to the connector on the pickup.
Did you wire your 7 pin based on color, or did you wire based on functions with an assistant and a test light? Gm does not seem to follow the standard colors 100%.
