NW Iowa | Hope you get it figured out. If possible, I know on the newer Ram pickups, they have a diagram molded into the dust cap for the plug. Maybe Chevrolet and others do the same. Might be able to copy one of them as for exact wire location in the plug. I know on my 11 Ram everything works properly when I plug into the trailers. Maybe your dad’s 04 has the diagram on the dust cover for you to snap a picture of and copy. Might be as simple as a wire switched up accidentally when you wired up the plug on your truck. I know I’ve made that mistake before and frustrated the dickens out of me before I realized where I goofed up. | |
