They don't usually get snow, I don't remember what the elevation is, but it's not much higher that the TriCities area, has to be less that 1000'. I think where we cross the river on 97 it's less than 400', and Yakima is only a dam or two higher.

That low of elevation, if they do get snow it's a few inches that melts off quick. Sure, the farms can probably fair as well as anyone for not expecting it, but what about roads coming in or out? Tough to do much if the miles of roads to get to your place are all drifted in.
