I wouldn't blame you if I wasn't the sole operator, maintenance, and manager. Just like your 1000 steers are way too many compared to my 100, but I know you're out there everyday getting your hands dirty. Some of the mega dairies don't have any ownership that remembers what cow sh!t smells like. I'm not shedding any tears for an outfit that lost a bunch of cows because employees weren't there to deal with the day to day. If you can't be bothered to save your own stock then goddamn right you're too big. I'm sure the majority of dairies had ownership out in the heat of the battle fighting to save cows whether the employees made it or not, for those men I'll pray.
