We get snow and we get wind. Just never together. If we get large amount of snow temp is warmer like 25 and up. Where we are located along the northeast edge of the valley (same as the dairys that lost cattle) we will get north east winds some winters. Those can get cold and are strong but are usually dry. First time we’ve ever had both simultaneously in the form of a blizzard. I don’t remember too many instances of wind with 80 mph gusts either. Caught everyone off guard.
