Subject: RE: Investing

Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
I've invested some in stocks and mutual funds over the years. Did well in the run up in the 90's. Mutual funds are easy and are good for someone not willing to take the time to study the market. Getting in and out of stocks is about like marketing grain!
Later, I have decided to pretty much invest in what I do. I like being able to SEE and touch my investment, particularly land. I also like decent machinery I can enjoy NOW. You never know if your going to be around tomorrow. I have life insurance to take care of those I leave behind if I pass early instead of having a bunch of money in stocks that I hope have done well over the years. There are no gurauntees in life. Enjoy what you can today.
