Currently I've been investing all i have back into the farm for several years. Buying ground, land payments, ect. Thinking that maybe i need to diversify and start investing in the stock market too. I know virtually nothing except i heard vanguard is a good place to start?
Any tips or advice.
Specifically John Burns lol

I'd suggest taking some time and reading this book. You'll find it very helpful and easy to understand. Your nearest library probably has it or can get it for you.

And yes, Vanguard is a good place to start, although most of the big mutual fund houses have similar offerings. Index funds are dirt cheap and very tax efficient, but there are a select few managed funds that have performed very well also.
