Fruita CO | I don't know about an 855 specifically, but the older ones like the 850-950-1050 were gravity flow to the inj. pump. Being a precombustion chamber engine, they always were cold-blooded & smoky starting. If you're getting smoke, the injectors should be bled. The way those pumps are set up, it's not likely the timing has gotten off. A TINY sniff of ether may be the ticket, make sure it's turning over good when you give it... | |
