east central NE.
I did that once with a thunderstorm . I was around ten thousand feet and a storm brewed up in front of me. It had a top of around twenty thousand feet and clear under five thousand . I did not want to drop down that far as it was summer and I wanted to stay up where it was cool and I thought if I had to I could dive to clear sky under it. I thought I would just shoot through it but I was mistaken. It was on just instrument and it was a battle to try to hold any allitude as I would climb like everything then fall and all the time being shook all over the place. It was raining like everything and a little hail and took about fifteen minutes to get through, but felt like an hour. Did get the plane washed and did not get any hail damage.
