ND

This story fits in with Colorado.  Back in the 70's, 4 of us young guys flew from ND to Colorado Springs to see our buddy, who was in the army based there.

We had a Cessna 172 club plane, and one of us had his license so we were ready to go.  First the radio didn't work so had to stop in Aberdeen, to get that fixed, then on to Greeley Co. first day.  A small airport, put on fuel next morning, and the guy there told us to make sure we leaned out the engine, or we would end up in the corn field at the end of the field.

We made the trip, there and back, I would never do that again.
