I think you made a good point when you initially questioned the validity of Newsom's extrapolations. I don't think historical data is relevant to this market except for making guesses about world supply. World demand is a completely different issue, predicting demand/price is not the same as past marketing years no matter how anyone massages the data. They might just as well be using tea leaves..
