I’ve been keeping my eye on Gro for a while.

One issue I note with these services is that, while the USDA is the gold standard, at least here, these models are calibrated by backtesting them against USDA numbers.

I don’t know about Tellus but Gro’s stated idea is to guess the USDA number. Which is different than modeling the best accurate number.
