I do no cash renting...........I'm starting to hear of a little of it around here but for the most part everything is crop shared. With that said.............the bad thing about paying out these bonuses is that it seems like the land owner would pretty much come to expect the bonus. Then the bad year you don't pay the bonus is probably the last year you farm the ground...............therefore is it really a bonus after all?
I agree. If the landlord thinks he's not getting his fair share then farm on crop shares..... problem solved. |
