Ohio | Whatever the agreed upon price is all you have to pay. If he’s wanting extra you have every right to tell him to pound sand. But I would imagine you won’t be farming a farm the next year. We have a agreement with our landlords that if we have exceptional profitable years that we will pay them extra. A verbal agreement only. Always happy to pay them extra if we have a good year but I need to make money too. The good years or what get you ahead in farming, so they need to understand that too.
