Well, I can't say anything about new equipment, since everything I farm with is 2007 or older.
But I hate lubing the chains on my 7300 planter. No way to do a decent job (that I know of) without either getting oil all over everything or else taking all the chains off.


oiling planter chains is a waste of time unless you mean oiling them up after season to sit all year, I dont even do that but it sits inside and doesnt get rusty. oiling them in season with all the dirt flying around "sand for me" would cut a chains life span in half.
