onoway,ab | AGCO is taking the Ideal rollout very slowly. Im told the all the machines that ran this year in north america will be taken back to Hesston and ripped a part and reassessed. For now all Ideals will be built in Italy and in the future they may be built in Hesston. The Gleaner design is at its limit for Western Canada already and the 9505 masseys are not far from reaching their limit too. Don't get me wrong a 9565 will eat but the Ideal takes it one step further I'm told. In western Canada the Massey/Challenger out sells the gleaner 3 to 1 as i understand it so it doesn't surprise me that AGCO wouldn't build a gleaner for "up here". | |
