I wonder if they are trying to look long term into ever bigger machines.
The Gleaner system works great, but you can’t make the drum much longer, and you can’t make it too much bigger around, you run into some limitation there.
Don’t know if that is a factor.

There is some very easy engineering to revolutionize the Gleaner platform but it’s the biggest change in combine engineering since Gleaner first rolled out. Agco doesn’t have the balls to make that jump. |
Ideal combine.
