The environmental groups are not what they used to be.
Neither are the farmers. So it goes. California has some of finest progressive businesslike farmers in the world. Only in the Midwest to you hear such whining. Here environmental groups are pushing cover crops and crop diversity. In California, the farmers have to consider particle emmisions from tillage passages. Big difference.
