Subject: iPad WiFi/Bluetooth issue

I run intelligent ag (recon) blockage on my drill. It is monitored through iPad over a lan in the cab. Would like to hot spot off my iPhone over Bluetooth at the same time but can’t seem to make it work-just hangs until I shut off WiFi on iPad. It does pair and say I have a connection. What am I doing wrong?
