KS and NE in eastern 3rd | Margins are getting tighter on every acres as time goes along. Sure there's a string of a few good years here and there but in general thete will be less profit per ac each year, the trend is down. There's currently too many farmers trying to take their slice of pie. I know it's ruthless to say but we need a good hard flush for a few years to get a few hands out of the pot. Row crop farming is too easy. Guys in their 80s are still farming should tell you that. | |
