Raven's 600S looks exactly like Ag Leader's GPS6500. I would bet they're made by the same company and the only differences are minor firmware customizations to each one.

Was the E Pro able to configure the 600? NMEA sentences, serial baud rates, and the like, or was simple able to receive signal as it was currently configured? The E Pro is not listed compatible with the 600S, but that doesn't mean they can't work together, it just means it might not have access to some features beyond basic GPS signal.
