Nw Iowa | Yea the hyd tail wheel was biggest part of plow that I didn't like. Deere took a simple system and made it complicated. Last summer was when I really seen the buys. The two I referenced ( IH and Jd) where both sold last summer. I will send you some money back if you reset the clock on some of my corn marketing for last three years, than we both would be smiling.
I actually didn't mind the plowing but was hard to get everything set up right in the middle of trying to get manure on and tiling and finishing the other tillage. When the plows left, it cleared up a lot of time. Your right though it was hard to find guys that knew how to plow. There is even a art to laying out lands that most younger people can't understand. It is getting that even some of the retiring guys have forgotten how to plow. | |
