No that is NOT true. There are enough people that are NOT "average" farmers and they have the ability to pay. We have no idea how wealthy some individuals are. the thing that might lower land values is if interest rates on cds and bonds and annuities goes up and the 2-4% return on farmland is not the best looking one in an ugly investment contest.
