When you buy a farm you have a pretty good idea what the rent on that farm will be for the remainder of your career. Not so much if you rent it. So if you only rent how much money are you putting into a retirement fund each year.
Retirement fund, lol. I farm for a living and because I enjoy it, not as a means to an end.
