C IL | I will admit to some skepticism on covers from the get-go. There was (is) a big knowledge gap - it takes a long time to get the message out to everyone. Took a while to get RMA on board. The bad news travels like wildfire and the good news is met with skepticism. There still is legitimate debate about how to measure the benefits.
All that said ... we are going to try some, this fall or next, after we build some terraces. So then we will have some personal experience.
I personally am not surprised that many folks on the flat prairies are slow to line up, and many folks with fragile soils on steep hillsides, especially from animal areas, were early to the party. | |
