Growing to your market is a good thing.
Growing to a dictator never goes well long term.
There is a difference. (And I'm painting with a broad brush, I know.)
Farmers do a pretty good job. There is certainly a lot of interest in reducing tillage, increasing efficiencies, working with biological processes including covers, and on and on. We can improve what we do, and I think we overwhelmingly show we want to, and try to, and learn and consume new ideas as we can.
Why not let farmers work, instead of some group beating them over the head and making them submit by people with no skin in the game and little experience in the field.
