Central Minnesota | I work at a VA hospital. Yes, the WW2 vets did have PTSD, that’s why they had a very high rate of alcoholism. Back then they called it “shell shock.” The current group of vets have a very high incidence of PTSD due to the concussions they have received as a result of the IEDs.
