I've seen it first hand, spent a year in Iraq digging up IEDs in the Army, got my bell rung a few times. Zero disability, but definitely fought through PTSD. Took me a decade to recover, still changed me forever but I'm thankful I can say I've recovered.
I can't imagine. I am definitely a gun toting patriotic American. If called upon to defend my country I would most definitely do so. But to volunteer? It takes alot of guts and courage to do that. I give you a heart felt thank you for your service to your country. I'm glad that you were able to get past your PTSD and I wish you the best in your life as a civilian. |
