McCanna, ND | Lots of good advice so far. The only thing i have to add is that a bow with a longer brace length is generally less “jumpy” to shoot. I had a Hoyt for years that i could shoot very well. Went to a bow tech for whatever reason and i couldn’t shoot it nearly as accurate as my old Hoyt. The brace height was shorter and like 4” shorter ATA, it was super fast though. My current bow is a Hoyt spyder 32 which is a good compromise between brace height and ATA imo. If hunting out of a tree stand try to get a 30-32” ATA bow so it’s easier to handle | |
