St.Clair Co. IL.
guess one thing no one asked or else I didn't see it, what is your age? if your getting up in the yrs. and your state allow them, maybe you might consider a cross bow, I started with a used Pearson spoiler plus, wheel bow very smooth, accurate, and forgiving, then I updated to a new pearson spoiler, like the bow, but it's lighter and shorter and wayyyy less forgiving, but with a lot of practice I am starting to feel comfortable with it. like others say go to a good bow shop and check and shoot a few different model's and find your draw length, then if you want check out craig's list seems guys are always having to have the newest stuff and blame their OLD bow for missing.
But I started with my first bow from a bow shop cause they helped me get started and shown how to shoot properly right away.
good luck have fun and be prepared to ask yourself HOW THE HECK DID I MISS!!
