Don't laugh at that $20-30 figure, it's the truth. I had one real large farmer tell me one time he only had to make $1.00 an acre after expenses and he would still have a real nice income for the year. I personally wouldn't want to take that much risk to make $160/ quarter every year, but he's still farming large so it must be working for him.
