They can get weak, but it's not necessarily the alternator.
First, I would find your poor connection. .4 volts drop from the alternator to the battery is excessive. Also 13.2 volts at the alternator is a little low. It should be closer to 14 or a little over, unless the alternator is really hot, or the engine speed really low.
