Nc Ks. | Tractor running, no fan or ac turned on, voltmeter is in the middle of gauge, not over in the green. The higher the blower speed, the further below half the volt meter falls. On high, the gauge is on the border of discharge and the warning light will flash intermediately. Batteries are good, a year old and the alternator is keeping them charged. Voltage output on the back of the alternator reads 13.2 volts and at the battery reads 12.8. That's the same whether the ac and blower are off or on high. Is the alternator just not putting out enough? It's been on there for years but I thought they either worked or didn't. Didn't think they would get weak. | |
