Central Illinois | I read some good advice above. When I was a kid dad put up a LOT of square bales. So did some of the neighbors. Many times there would be a crew of 4 to 6 for loading - driver, 1-2 stackers and 2-4 picking up. 100 bales, +/-, to a rack. If we had the help and the bales we would run 2 crews in the field and one in the barn. 1,000+ in a day was not unheard of. BUT, we did this stuff all summer every summer. You may have been better off spreading this out over several days. | |
