call the Manufacturer they know there product if they are worth a darn. If they are not helpful I would stop using their product. They should be able to help out some way some how. I don't know if you will have an issue at 2' oc. I have seen some pretty cheesy stuff last a long long time. Maybe consider building a air chute between the trusses similar to a hog barn for attic ventilation to help with wind pressure issues. that plastic cardboard is cheap stuff and works well for keeping snow out. My thought if she is going to go it is going to go regardless. I have seen a lot of sill plates still Attached to a foundation when the rest is gone.
