Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa
Garvo j bolts prob would have been spec every 6' so I'm ok with your 2' spacing on your red heads or "drop ins" they are 1/2" bolts right? I also like your solid three wall and best if you sheet and create a "shear wall" ---plywood or osb nailed at say 6" pattern--tell your friend this will be a first rate product in my OP also think the wall venting might be ok but hate to give up connecting your shear wall to the top plates. Hurricane clip the mono rafters every where you connect with a Simpson product and with a shear wall you will be looking for the whole structure on the neighbors farm if the big blow comes.
