South Dakota
We've got a contiguous half section, that's the best we've got. When I was driving home from church the other day, my wife asked who farmed a particular quarter and it's one of my best friends dad. The. It donned on me that he farmed a few quarters in a row. He's got a half section, then the next quarter and an inside 80, but that 240 is separated from the 320 by a gravel road, but still, that's a mile and half contiguous. He's been trying to buy or trade a little over 100 acres from us, which is part of the next quarter. West river there are some huge fields. It's like 75-80% grass out there though. You see a lot of 2,000 + acre contiguous ranches go for sale, but it's usually pretty much all grass.
