It really depends on the season and type of grass but most of ya'll don't see the difference like we do here. CSAGs need to be headed out and in the dough stage in this are for dry hay production. CSPGs are cut at the same time. We have only one cool season perennial grass and it is spear grass. All warm season grasses are cut on 30 day intervals except natives and sudan which is cut by 10% boot. Alfalfa and other lugumes are also based on 10% flowering/boot.
