You really don't grasp trying to farm and work off the farm do you? Especially if you add in kid(s). For me it's balls to the walls from the time it's ready to work ground until stuff is washed and put away in the fall. But no reason you can't wrench in Michigan during the winter even without a heated shop. Just have to take breaks when the fingers are numb.
