sw ontario | With guys wanting higher prices drought, preventive planting, ect. too raise there grain prices does anyone ever look at what there end users can afford too pay? Don't know profits in ethanol or consumer foods but dairy, hogs, beef isn't profitable enough for them to pay higher feed costs . Corn up a buck and soys up 2 or 3 would just cut demand back more.We have crops and livestock and raise pretty much all our own feed and see COP issues on both sides.....neither side can have the whole pie for long as every generic commodity usually falls too average COP.....Farming is tough ,so is finding a job that pays enough too support ones families,wants,needs....maybe all of us have too lower our expectations--have a safe spring | |
