SW Michigan | My BIL is at the corporate level with one of the Cereal Companys (he's the buyer (end user) I'm the farmer (the seller) his company makes money when the grains are low , me (the farmer make's money in a rising grain market). Our family get togethers are interesting but to quote his words " during the coarse of any given year the market will offer the chance for the farmer to make money and the end user to make money"! There's a reason why some farmers continue to buy land, equipment, etc., and other farmers go out of business given that everything is equal. Trying to run a business and a family is not easy and some people just do it a little bit better than others! | |
