S.E. Iowa | I dont know whats available in your area but my son marketed his thru producers livestock association. We are close to Monmouth. A couple of times they were short on pigs so they bid up to get the open market hogs. Beings we are close we got in on the "large quanity" hog prices. I might be wrong but it may have been as much as 6 bucks a cwt. Again it was a come now deal delivered with our gooseneck and the planets were aligned. | |
