I agree 100% if there is a chance of runoff, but we do farm fields that are flat, bordered and irrigated that all runoff stays on them. So what is the problem of spreading on those fields? I'm the first person that doesn't want it in a water source. Like I said common sense, and yes I do have enough storage for 365 days out of the year, in fact I have more than three years storage, but the only time we really have to spread is in the late fall/winter if snow pack will allow to run because of labor constraints.
