Again I ask if there is no chance for runoff from fields, it all stays on the applied fields where is the harm in it? Commercial fertilizer is mined out of the earth, you are just relocating it to the top to do some good. And yes you can still apply commercial fertilizer in the winter here, no I wouldn't do it if there was a risk of it running off. Again like I said the vocal minority is making the rules for everybody.
