Not to butt in on John’s thread but I just installed tru-counts on my JD 1760 12 row. The dealer wanted $60 a row to do it. I spent most of a week on and off doing it. Most of the time spent deciding where to mount things. I could do a second one in a day by myself easy.
I would be interested in knowing what kind of savings you think customers can achieve? I think I can get 4-5 % savings on seed cost in my heavily terraced ground. And I think the real money will be increased yield on the corn acres that are not double planted. I hear of people claiming a 10% seed cost savings in square field country. That seems like allot.
