west central iowa | Sure thing. It has been tough the last few months. The winter thaw came late, 10 inches of snow may 1st and now lately a record amount of rain fall. I raise corn and soybeans also and getting them planted was a breeze compared the the amount of work I have now with my cattle lots. Then to top it off the cattle futures had to fall so far so fast. Sure, put the word out there. It would be nice for people to realize it's not all roses here despite what they read in the paper about the increase in land prices. | |
