west central iowa | Last monday I was in the pen with the red cattle putting electric hot wire between the two gaurd rails. The cattle were trying to eat the grass and putting alot of pressure on the rail and bolts. I was wearing 5 buckel boots. However the mud went past and was up to my knees. I feel sorry for my cattle but I can't do anything until it stops raining for a while. There isn't dry dirt to haul back into the lots right now. I'm at a lost of options. | |
