Texas/New Mexico Stateline | Same here. If a dog is off the owner's property, and acting aggressive or uncontrollable in any way, don't take a chance with it. Situations get out of control fast. It isn't worth taking the risk of a kid getting hurt for the officer to fiddle around trying to catch it somehow, and potentially get hurt besides.
If my dog is off my property and causing problems, I would not whine and cry about it getting shot. My pet, my responsibility to keep it under control. |
