Excellent post, thanks.

The only other point I would make is people don't want to eat corn, wheat or rice 24/7/365. They are prepared to pay more money to eat something that tastes much better. Thank goodness. The argument that one acre produces enough calories for 15 people for a year is well and good, but assumes we are nothing more than a steer or hog bellying up to the feedbunk. Also enjoyed his often repeated, always wrong 40% of corn goes to ethanol quote, that he immediately follows with "distillers gets fed to animals."....smh.
