I have had REALLY good luck with priceline.com lately for trips. Never worked very well in Minneapolis, Chicago, etc., but it seems to come up with a lot better results when I am down south for some reason. I use the name your price part of the site, put in my star level, start low and just raise the bid 10 bucks and keep resubmitting till I get a result.
